We have always been enamored by the working abilities and instincts of the Australian Shepherd. These innate abilities are the basis of the Aussie's versatility. 

It is hard to put the following qualities we strive for in a specific order of importance, but along with working abilities we also consider temperament and conformation. While not 'major' concerns but still of great importance are the breeding, whelping and mothering qualities of breeding stock.
